Intensive Psychiatric Rehabilitation
The Intensive Psychiatric Rehabilitation (IPR) program is based on the fundamental assumptions that people with mental illness can and do recover.
The program assists people in developing and planning for long-term goals in the areas of living, working, education, and socialization.
The IPR service includes group and individual meetings that relate to developing awareness about choices, building skills needed for success and
satisfaction, self-discovery, and learning about recovery.
Eligibility Criteria
- Individuals have a psychiatric diagnosis
- Individuals are eligible for Medicaid or have another payment source (in some circumstances, special financial arrangements may be made)
- Individuals would benefit from intensive services to improve functioning in social, vocational, educational, and living environments
